Madison Dad Battling Cancer Won't Fight Alone

Brad Errington of Madison was recently diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer -- but his community is making sure he knows he won't be fighting alone.

More than $18,700 had been raised for him and his family on a GoFundMe as of Thursday morning.

The campaign was launched by Mary Boyko Skinner for Brad, his wife Kara and two children.

Dozens of community members left comments encouraging Brad to keep fighting, no matter what.

"Stay strong and fight hard Brad and The Errington Family," Paula Trupla said. "You have a lot of support behind you. We’re here if you need anything."

"I had colon cancer at this time last year," Jodi Zwain said. "I finished chemo in July. I wish you all the best. You can do this!"

"This is a great family we are all praying for Brad," Amanda Benjamin added.
